Kajakkspesialisten's workshop, where courses are held, is located in the old church "The Chapel" in Vestfossen. There is a train station in Vestfossen, and it is about 45 minutes' by car from Oslo.

The chapel was built in the 1860's as a religious meeting house. In 1902 it became church for the Vestfossen area. In 2011 a new church was ready, and it now serves purpose as cultural center, workshop and course location. During courses, overnight tentings are arranged nearby. The workshop is situated close to the water for the sake of kayak testing and shorter kayak trips. 100 meter from the workshop there is a small beach for kayak launching.
