Is it possible to hunt and fish from a kayak?

Yes indeed! Especially fishing is very simple. You can use a small fishing rod or a fishing line (or even a fishing net!). Use your paddle as an outrigger in the beginning. Tor, in the picture, caught this cod on a small 0.20 line. It weighed 27 pounds!

Hunting is not my specialty, but it is possible to do it from a kayak. Torbjarne, the guy in the picture, built his kayak on one of our very first courses in 1996. Here he is, eider duck hunting with kayak and shotgun.
